Dog Friendly Beaches Port Aransas TX
Port Aransas Beach is dog-friendly, and dogs are even allowed off-leash on the Coastal Bend. Dogs will love this beach where they can play around in the sand and water, or even go kayaking and boating with their humans.
State and Local Parks
Most Texas state parks allow dogs, as long as they are kept on a maximum 6-foot leash. Keep your pets nearby at all times and be sure to keep them out of the water or near a swimming area. Mustang State Park, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, Padre Island National Seashore, and Lake Corpus Christi State Park are all nearby.
The Padre Island National Seashore has dog-friendly beaches, and dogs are welcome anywhere in the park here. All pups must remain on leash here for their safety and the safety of the local wildlife. Follow the pet access trail from the parking area to the beach, which is located on the north (left) side of the Malaquite Pavilion.
Another great spot to bring your dog is Roberts Point Park, which features a small park area where you can take Fido for a walk. This is an especially beautiful place to visit at sunset. The Nature Preserve of Port Aransas, a 1,200-acre park features dog-friendly trails to explore and a shaded area to have a picnic after walking around.
