Joan & Scott Holt Paradise Pond

The Joan & Scott Holt Paradise Pond is a two-acre habitat that is a must-visit for birding enthusiasts. The land was purchased with the prize money from the Great Texas Birding Classic as a sanctuary for birds along their spring migratory route. The small park has a wheelchair-accessible boardwalk and three observation decks. 

 

This park is ideal for relaxation and there is a sitting area near the entrance to enjoy the local flora and fauna. Watch butterflies, dragonflies, and a variety of local and migratory bird species.
